WIND CHIMES!
What an absolutely gorgeous week it's been! The kids loved getting outside for wind chimes this week. We talked about "vibration" and learned what chimes need to make noise. The kids were very interested to see how long certain chimes would actually ring after being struck, so we experimented with sound wave length and duration, and also different materials (chimes made of metal, wood, and plastic).
We also played some fun musical games in the grass! Ask your child about making music with windchimes this week! =)
