International Game/Puzzle Week

Games and Songs, Oh My!

Can you believe we played GAMES in music class last week? November 11th through the 15th was international game and puzzle week, and I wanted to bring the fun to all of your kiddos. Not only did we sing some of our favorite songs, but we also danced SO much. Music class is a great time for us all to decompress and get all of our wiggles and jiggles out while we aren't working hard on our classwork. I encouraged all of our friends to get movin' and groovin' this week, as well as being as silly as they could be! Along with our dancing and songs, we practiced using our counting fingers for the bubble song and practiced shape recognition with the Shape Game song.

Songs this week included...
Slippery Fish
1, 2, 3 Little Bubbles
Baby Bumblebee
Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes
If You're Happy and You Know It
Ring Around the Rosie
Grand ol Duke of York
The Shape Game!
Freeze Dance by Happy Tunes (found on Spotify)
Shake My Sillies Out by Raffi
Five Little Fishies
You're Welcome from Moana and Frozen music for Dance Party time!

I also read them the book "This Is My Dance" (which they LOVED).
