HELLO SPRING!
Perhaps Michigan hasn't QUITE gotten the memo yet, but the first official day of spring is next Tuesday! Today in music class we talked about the transition to spring, read the book Hello Spring by Mary Packard, and used desk bells and resonator bars to "ding for spring." Using cues in the books and also counting and singing nursery rhymes like "Frere Jacques," we used the bells in conjunction with the beat and words as well.
