This week in Music we learned about the difference between soft and loud. With the older children we talked about the terms used in music for soft and loud. For instance "forte" means to play loudly, "piano" means to play quietly.
We read a book titled Too Much Noise They really loved helping read the book with making the noises and sounds. After reading the story we played a variety of rhythm instruments. they went around and got to choose how they were going to play. after they had their turn i asked them which one they chose forte or piano.
