TAMBOURINE TIME!
We had a great time learning the different ways we can play tambourines today, including:
--Shaking
--Tapping with palm of hands
--"Clapping" with the tambourine
--Playing the cymbals on the side with our fingers
--Drumming or tapping lightly with our fingers
We also sang a fun song/large motor activity called "Tambourine Train". Download the MP3 HERE!
Another highlight of our day was watching this amazing Tedx performance from Greg Sheehan of Australia!
Ask your child about the different parts of the tambourine, and different ways that they can play the tambourine. They might even remember how to sing the "Tambourine Train" song!
